It occurred to me while I was making comics of George and the Author that Mega Man was actualy still there, just standing off-screen with the Yellow Demon. It also occurred to me that it's been a while since Bass was around, so I thought I'd bring him back. And then, while I was making this particular comic, I realized that Bass hadn't been around for the entire "imposter" saga, so not only would he have no idea what's going on right now, but he'd have no idea who George is. Ditto for Bob. As even Bass himself has said, no one ever tells him what's going on.
