Shadow Man, being an elite ninja and all, could just as easily hide with the lights on than off by turning invisible, but I had a problem with how to relay that information to the audience? I can't just make invisible, because then no one would know where he was. I suppose I could've gone the "Invisible Woman" route and given him a dashed outline, but I always thought that was kinda lame. Anyway, when I remembered the level of quality I normally employ with the comic, I realized I could get away with a little arrow simply telling the audience exactly what I wanted them to know. It's good not to have any production values. |
