Right, so Proto Man wants to steal X's blaster for himself. Yeah, it's kinda dumb, but I needed some sort of conflict between X and these two to further alienate X, and this was the best I could come up with. Because, frankly, why wouldn't they be friends? Also, the model number Proto Man quotes is, of course, the section Earth is in from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
