Once George's identity was revealed, I felt much in the same position as Mega Man and George in the this comic. So, uh, now what? We've spent so much time just trying to figure out who the imposter is, but what do we do now? Where do we go from here? Luckily, at least for me, I always have my fall-back strategy: Ice cream.

I've often heard in comedy that if something is funny, more of it is funnier. So, hyperbole is often an easy way to get a laugh. In this case, if Mega Man likes ice cream, George absolutely loving it must be funnier, right? Right?! I used the same approach for Mega Man and Bass's stupidity, and that worked out pretty well.

Actually, the truth of the matter is that I wanted George's reaction at the end of the comic to mirror Mega Man's reaction at the beginning of the comic to act as the punchline, but the only way that would work is if he was overly enthusiastic about whatever it was that Mega Man suggested. With nothing else in mind, I went to the ice cream, and that's how George actually ended up being the supreme ice cream lover we've all come to know.

In fact, this may very well be the exact moment when ice cream went from being a mild recurring reference to an overused running gag. But it tastes so good!
