That's the problem with doing complicated back-flips: Someone can just stand there watching and waiting for you to land so they can punch you really hard. I always like having a character just off-screen reach in and yank another charater out of frame. It's the sort of thing readers don't always catch the first time they read a comic, mostly because they're too busy focusing on what's being said and the main action, so it can come as a surprise when something happens in the next comic they weren't expecting.
