The way that Mega Man was going to be fighting one Robot Master after another reminded me of the Power Battles and Power Fighters games, in which each round started with the "Ready? Fight!" displays, much like at the beginning of the levels of the later Megaman games. I couldn't resist starting this battle with it to note the similarities.
