First, that's the same cage Dr. Light and Dr. Wily will be imprisoned in during the next game storyline. Second, I find it funny that Proto Man is predicting that Mega Man will rescue Kalinka, when in the actual game it's supposed to be Proto Man himself that does that. Third, because Proto Man mysteriously disappeared just before the end of the last game storyline, he wasn't around to find out that Mega Man got his intelligence removed by Dr. Light. As for the last panel, remember that this is Ran telling the story, so he might misremember a few things. Also, that Dr. Light sprite is the same one (with slightly modified colors) that I later used for the McCarthyites. (Or should they be called Uncle Sams?) You know, now that I think about it, this is Mega Man's first appearance in this storyline, isn't it?
