Ran's pose in the middle two panels includes what may be the first appearance of what I think of as the "explanation hand". Deccus's sprites of Dr. Wily have something similar, except this is for the robots. I ended up using it quite a bit in the rest of the comic. I recall having to make it smaller than the sprite I normally use for the rest of the characters because Ran is physically smaller than the rest of the characters. The same goes for the "pointing hand" he uses in the last panel.

Liss is from Canada, so for Spring Break this year I went to visit her. It was my first visit to Canada, so I thought I would commemorate it with a special storyline in the comic.
