I know I made it all up, but can it really be a coincidence that fourth Megaman game came out around the same time the Soviet Union collapsed? Ran's line in the last panel reminds me of various other contradictory insults people use against different ethnicities and nationalities, like how all those lazy Mexicans are stealing our jobs!
