A cardboard cutout of a character sprite is pretty meta. I realized right away that I couldn't waste an entire panel with Nate scribbling on his signs, so I didn't bother to include them. But please, if you like, imagine that in between each panel he pulls out a blank sign and scribbles out his next line on it.
