That was rather anti-climactic, wasn't it? Dr. Wily's reference to Windows FE (Final Edition), is not only a call-back to this comic, but it's also a reference to another webcomic, Dragon Tails by Tim Dawson (specifically this comic). Addtionally, there's another reference to Windows, and a screen shot, in a later comic.
