And thus the mystery of why the gun didn't work on Bob is revealed: Apparently it only works on robots, and since Bob is not a robot (a fact Rock Man is conveniently not in the vicinity to hear), it didn't work. I'm not really sure why the gun wouldn't work on humans (or whatever human-like creature Bob and George are), but maybe Dr. Wily didn't want it to accidentally be used on him. Which brings up an interesting point: Does the gun always make an evil clone, or will it make a clone with a nature opposite that of the original? Either way, I can see why Dr. Wily wouldn't want it used on him. An eviler Wily and a good Wily would both be bad for him. In fact, can you imagine the result if it had worked on Bob? |
