I'm not saying Ran contacted former KGB agents and kidnapped my cat to force me to publish this statement, just that I missed him and I really wanted him back. The US was gearing up to go to war with Iraq and it definitely seemed like anyone who disagreed with the President's plan was automatically labeled a terrorist themselves, regardless of their reasons. I recall seeing an "interview" with Janeane Garofalo on Fox News where this big-haired harpy refused to listen as Janeane argued that the War in Iraq was a terrible idea, that there was no conclusive evidence there were any WMD's in Iraq, and that the only people that would be hurt by the invasion were the Iraqi people. I was on the fence about it myself, but after seeing this Republican cronie "win" the argument by simply being louder, I realized that the war was probably a bad idea and that the Republicans that toe the Neoconservative line are generally liars and hypocrites. Oh, and wouldn't you know it? Turns out Janeane Garofalo was absolutely correct. |
