I'm not sure how radio waves can get through the shields but teleporting robots can't. There must be something special to teleportation beams that make them different from simple electromagnetic waves; perhaps the effectiveness of the field is based on the strength of the signal, with a teleportation beam containing more energy than a simple radio wave. Besides, if radio waves couldn't penetrate the shield, that satellite dish on the top of Dr. Wily's fortress would be pretty useless, amd then how would Dr. Wily be able to watch his stories? |
