The Author's covered in spit from his encounter with Merv during the Christmas special. Non-Alternate Mynd is confused because sudden breaks in the middle of fights is not something he's used to. Roll and Dr. Light haven't been seen yet in this storyline, so who knows what happened to them? Did Mynd kill them during his entrance, like Mega Man, or are they in hiding? Or are they completely unaware of what's going on? George is probably talking to Bob, though I deliberately left it ambiguous, as he might be talking to the Helmeted Author. Or maybe he's talking to a Helmut-possessed Bob...
