So, in case it's not clear, the Author on the right, the one that just dropped down from above the panels, is the Author from now-now, the one that is currently creating the comic. The Author on the left is the Author from the Cataclysm Flashback storyline, the one that went to look for the Cataclysm and got sidetracked by the Shadowy Author. You know, this is a very similar situation to the one encountered later by the Alternates.
