I think the fans expected me to do something awesome with Skull Man's weapon, but I couldn't resist the juxtaposition of how awesome Skull Man seems like he should be with how incredibly stupid his weapon actually is. By the way, I imagine Skull Man probably talks in a deep, unearthly voice that echoes of death. But since I can't do that in text, white text on a black background would have to do. Maybe I should have had him talk in all caps like Death from the Discworld series does.
