Sorry, I couldn't help but use the whole misunderstanding about "gone" and "dead" for extra drama. Personally, I love the bittersweet irony that Dr. Light spent all that time building X and they all just went through all of this recent shit for absolutely no reason because those worthless support units were cleaning the lab anyway. It really is a beautiful end to the storyline.
