Given how the robots' personalities were returned to their bodies, it shouldn't be surprising that they didn't necessarily return to their correct bodies. I figured the same problem wouldn't happen to the humans, since I'd imagine that human souls or consciousnesses are more tightly linked to their bodies, while robots are probably a little more fluid.
