I think this comic needs no explanation, though I will point out that a few comics ago, I bothered to switch the tools in Dr. Light's hands so that they were consistent. I have never, though, bothered to fix the button in his lab coat. And now you're all going to go look at his lab coat and realize I've never bothered fixing that.
