When I planned this fight, I tried to figure out how to use each of Mega Man's modified weapons against Doc Robot, and then how Doc Robot would use a previous Robot Master's abilties to overcome them. So the EMP didn't work because Doc Robot has Magnet Man's innate abilities (though it would have been more appropriate to use Elec Man's). Shadow Man's invisibility failed against Wood Man's leaves. And now Mega Man's using his giant Search Snakes. Just in case it wasn't clear that the Helmeted Author is EVIL.
