I based the color of giant killer bugs on the element colors from Chrono Cross. If the first three were red, blue, and green, then the last three would be black, white, and yellow. Presumably this would mean that the yellow bug would attack with some sort of air-related attack, the white one with some sort of energy-based attack, and perhaps the black one would use a gravity-based attack. Also, now you know how the Poke-Authors keep getting more mini-cans of beer.
