I imagine in the mind of a dog, getting beaten up by a cat is something like a football player being beaten up by a little girl. I have to admit, though, I'm a cat person. While I don't necessarily dislike dogs, they're just so needy and messy. I'd prefer a self-sufficient cat any day. As for people who say they don't like cats, I'd wager much of that is because they've never met a nice cat. Trust me, no matter how much you dislike cats, if you spent twenty minutes with my cat, you'd change your mind.
