X's confusion over his purpose alludes to Proto Man's astonishment at the banality of his purpose. It had been a long time since there had been a quip in the blurb, but while I was working on the main comic, I had been reading about the Gaea suit from Megaman X. I read that the suit had been designed by Dr. Light before he died, making it very old and not something X would necessarily want to wear.
