One of the problems with a simplistic comic like this is that the reader doesn't necessarily know where the events are taking place because the background is not necessarily detailed enough to indicate the location. Generally, events take place inside Dr. Light's lab, so a complicated background isn't needed, but where exactly are the characters in the comic above? Are we to assume that they're inside a building? Why? George's dialogue would seem to indicate that they're still outside... though what outside means in a virtual construct like the inside of X's mind, who can say? Regardless, it doesn't matter how well they tried to hide, compared to the energy signatures of the rest of the characters, George is probably glowing like a sun, being an innate electrical being and all. |
