You've got to admit, this would make for an awesome end to a movie. The hero stands triumphant, the sun setting below the horizon, and then the giant monster's hand reaches up over the cliff edge just as the screen cuts to black and the credits roll. Maybe I should've ended the comic with something like that. The only question would be whether that would've pissed off more or less people than the actual ending did.
