So, apparently the Yellow Demon survived Proto Man's attack as well. This thing is really frickin' hard to kill, isn't it? I suppose that's what makes it such a good bad guy. The face Mega Man's making here is supposed to very similar to Roll's face when the Yellow Demon first attacked. In case you were wondering, before interrupteding himself, Proto Man was going to tell Mega Man that he had planted those items to make think the Yellow Demon had killed him, because he knew it was the only way to get Mega Man angry enough to actually hurt the Yellow Demon. I suppose it's technically a lie and outright manipulation, but since it was for a good cause, I suppose it can be forgiven. It's an interesting look into how Proto Man uses a little psychology in his fights. That is, he knew Mega Man could do some damage if he would only get angry enough, and he knew that faking his own death would be just the thing to get Mega Man that angry. A shame the ensuing attack was still rather ineffective.
