It occurred to me that there was no reason Protean was limited the collection of missiles Napalm Man originally came with. After all, Nate's a freaking Yellow Demon; he could change into anything he wanted! So, a fuckload of missiles. Also, while Proto Man appears to be the one that does most of the talking in their merged form, it seems clear that Nate's personality is still in there and can communicate with Proto Man.
