The Introduction of the Author | People Do That To Me All The Time |
|
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
What does it say about an author when he himself writes dialogue in which the characters treat him like dirt? Clearly he must have deep-seeded psychological problems and crushingly low self-esteem... hey, just like George! Oh, I guess I now know where that comes from. The dialogue in the second panel references the opening credits to Quantum Leap, where the viewer is told the backstory of Dr. Samuel Beckett and his attempts to right wrongs and return home. I took it and expanded on the idea, trying to come up with enough variations of the same idea to fill another panel with the Author's rambling. As for the title, no, people don't really walk away when I start talking. I try very hard not to ramble quite so much in actual conversations. |
