And here we have the second iteration of the Wily-behind-your-back joke, the second of many. Not nearly as clever as the first, but as with so many running gags, the strength of the joke lies in the repetition. One of these days I should go through the Archives and figure out just how many times I've done this joke... By the way, if you're a little confused about Dr. Wily's dialogue in the second panel, remember that he's not supposed to know that the Author is pretending to be Mega Man. Since this is supposed to be a reenactment and Mega Man was supposed to be there, that's what the script says so that's what Wily's saying. Does that make any sense? Would you have even noticed anything if I hadn't said something?
