I always get confused as to what qualifies as irony and what doesn't. In this case, I think it does actually count as irony, since having Magnet Man killed by magnets is contrary to what you'd be expecting. Though, with that reasoning, wouldn't any of the Robot Masters being killed by their own weapons qualify as irony? I'm looking at you, Metal Man.
