After the robot's improve on their own design, isn't the next step to eradicate humans? I mean, I'm sure there will eventually be a point at which we have robots design the next generation of robots, and soon after the robots will probably end up being superior to humans, and at least in the movies, that's the point when the robots realize they don't really need humans around anymore. And then, invariably, some well-meaning scientist will realize things have gone too far and try to shut the robots down, but that's just going to piss them off, and that's when the reign of humanity is over. That is, unless we get them addicted to some sort of cold, creamy substance they can't make on their own... See where I'm going with this?
