The time between the Christmas Special and the New Years' Special is always something of a waste. I usually like to finish anything important before Christmas, but then there's no reason to start anything new until after New Years', so the time between is just a void of essentially meaningless fluff. Actually, come to think of it, I really should have just taken the whole week off, as a vacation to myself. Or, at the very least, make it a week of special comics... but that would be more work than just stalling, so I guess it all amounts to the same in the end. Oh, and the reference to George's time in the bathroom...
