The Attack of Mynd | The End |
|

First, they fire separately at Mynd, then Bob fires at George who combines the two beams of energy into one major blast, which actually looks like it hurts Mynd. Unfortunately, the channeling of so much pure energy is difficult to maintain, and at the very end, George can't contain it and everything explodes. Much of this attack was supposed to be similar to the climax of the last episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation, where the three Enterprises are trying to seal the anti-time rift using static warp shells, and they just barely succeed before all three ships are destroyed, with a little implosion at the end, much like what is seen at the bottom. This comic was originally two separate images, with the top a Jpeg and the bottom an animated Gif. They have since been combined into a single Flash file, though I really need to get some buttons in there to allow the user to control it. I'd like to say that the "The End" tagline at the end was merely intended to signify the end of the storyline, but the truth is that I was just being a dick. I didn't really intend to end the comic at that point, but I wasn't sure what I was going to do after the break that followed this comic. Would I actually end the comic? Maybe go back to the hand-drawn stuff? Or just continue the comic as though nothing important had happened. I mean, it would be an excellent time to switch gears, given that almost all of the Megaman characters were dead and who knows what had happened to Bob and George? Given that I didn't update for several days afterwards, it really pissed off quite a few readers. |
