Another anime influence is the... well, I'm not exactly sure what you'd call that, but it's something you tend to find in anime, also indicating that something is rather exasperating. In this case, it's the fact that Dr. Light doesn't realize that they haven't mentioned George to Dr. Wily yet, so how could he possibly know that he was missing? Duh.
