Having just revealed that there were two Dr. Wily's, it seemed like a good time to change gears and do something else. Besides, it would give me time to figure out what the hell I was doing with Proto Man and George. So, here we have Author arriving after leaving the future to see the Cataclysm. Since that happened quite a while ago, this storyline is technically a flashback, hence the title. Also, first introduction of the Shadowy Author, later nicknamed "Shador", much in the same way that the Helmeted Author was nicknamed "Helmut". I did actually ask around in the chatroom for someone to be hideously tortured in the blurb space. This is the kid that volunteered. I this his name was Veemon.
