My intent with the last panel is that Helmut has physically attacked Mike after he asked him that question, with Mike's last words smeared on the lens of the dropped camera. As I recall, most readers were just confused by the last panel, so I don't think it worked that well. You do have to give Mike credit though, to have the foresight to write "HELP" backwards on the lens to it was readable to the audience.
