By this point in the comic, a clear storyline pattern had already emerged, and rather than try to fight it, I lampshaded it by pointing it out in the comic. After each game parody, a super-powered villain would show up for various reasons and attempt to kill everyone in the comic. First it was Bob (who attacked between the first game parody and the second), then Mynd (who attacked between the second game parody and the third), then evil Mega Man (between the third game parody and the fourth). Hell, even the Yellow Demon attacked between the first game parody prologue and the rest of it.
Then, after evil Mega Man attacked, we had the fourth game parody, followed by an attack by Helmut, then the fifth game parody, followed by an attack by Non-Alternate Mynd. I suppose there was a break in the sequence there, since X attacked before the sixth game parody, but I had to include it before I ended the comic, which included Bob's final attack, which had to come after the sixth game parody.
The point is that the characters were expecting it this time.
