In case you were wondering, "bugly" is a contraction of "butt-ugly". And in if you were thinking it was awfully coincidental that George/Helmut happened to show up just as Proto Man was about to be killed by the random holodeck malfunction, consider that it probably wasn't a random malfunction. Also, one would expect that if Bob's blaster was super-powerful, so would George's. And, at the time, this would be considered George's first use of his blaster... sort of.
