This comic's punchline could be taken a couple of different ways. First, Proto Man could be making fun of the fact that many characters in this comic would have done exactly the same thing, that George isn't that stupid compared some of the more objectively stupid characters like Mega Man, Bass, and Chadling. He might also be referring to the fact that puking up a barrel of ice cream because someone you trust told you it was poisoned isn't necessarily that stupid. Sure, it might have been stupid to eat the ice cream in the first place, or it might have been stupid to not question Proto Man's statement that it was poisoned, but if you really trust someone, is it necessarily that stupid to do trust them about something like that?
