One the inherent problems with attempting to describe awesome future technology is that actual technology tends to catch up so quickly, it's not long before your "futuristic" technology is obsolete. I mean, at the time, a 2 THz processor was just silly, but I can't imagine it'll be too long before we get there. And 10 TB of RAM might seem like a lot now, but I remember when 8 MB of RAM was the standard.
