I said a little more clever. And while tossing a chunk of ice into Ice Man's mouth while he's preparing to launch a blast of cold at you may not be all that clever or even that sporting, it is rather effective. Poor little Ice Man. Personally, I've always thought Ice Man got a bum rap in this game. I mean, all he wanted to do was keep the sodas chilled, then Dr. Wily had to go and turn him evil, and now he ends up choking on a chunk of frozen rock. How is that fair? Then again, I might just have a soft spot for him since he's the base sprite for Ran.
