At the time, hatred against Muslims was still fairly high, especially with the wars still going on, and I thought it was worthwhile to point out that not everyone who wears a turban, or any head covering, was necessarily a Muslim, and that some Middle Eastern cultures and religions have non-violence as a central tenat, such as Sikhism.
