I had downloaded several sprite sheets from a site called Heatman's Homepage (now Sprites, Inc.) and found the sprite of the steamroller-bot (known as the Mad Grinder) seen above. I thought the idea of our intrepid hero trying to intimidate a robotic death machine three times his size was funny, so I put it into comic form.

If you'd like to see the original version of this comic, click here. You might notice that in the first two original comics, I hadn't yet settled on Comic Sans as the comic's font (which I would later change to Myriad Roman), though I had at least decided I needed a floor by the second comic.
