I'm not sure why Mynd is trying to use Bob's dimensional blaster here. You would think that if Mynd has the ability to view other dimensions, he probably also has the ability to open portals to them. Maybe since Bob's blaster can apparently do it without an external power supply, why bother wasting the energy to do it on your own? Then again, maybe Mynd has to use Bob's blaster because Mynd lost the ability to create dimensional portals when Bob blew up his first fortress.
