This comic references the last time Mega Man quit the comic and Proto Man dressed up as him. If you recall, Dr. Light tried to take away Proto Man's blaster and ended up getting shot, which ultimately resulted in the Author's introduction into the comic as another possible replacement for Mega Man. You know, I think Proto Man's actually threatening Roll in that last panel...
