And thus Eddie is finally introduced, and the entire setup with Dr. Cossack trying to get Ran to take him along finally pays off. Actually, you never see a full-sized version of Eddie, only his foot. If it wasn't for the title, there'd really be no way to know that this foot belonged to Eddie until the following comic where Ran and George are talking about it. Some readers were dreading that I was going to make Dr. Wily's defeat a long, drawn-out affair, especially with the ominous threat he had given a few comics earlier. I never have any intention of doing that, but by misleading the readers, this sudden conclusion is all the better.
