As anyone who's taken a physics class should be able to tell you, the conservation of energy really is an important scientific principle. As a physicist, I feel it's important to enlighten my audience with the occasional education information.

And as an electrical engineer, it's something that George should know.

I really wanted to give this comic the feel of one of those old 50's educational films, including the black and white and signs of film degradation. I also wanted to include some static or other signs of age, but it made the comic's filesize grow far too large, so I left them out.
