It's true. All of this started back with that eyelash, and all of it has lead to this point, with the release of the Helmeted Author, so you can see how it could look like Helmut was the one behind all of it.

And if you're of the opinion that the Helmeted Author is really some dark aspect of myself, you could argue that, in a way, he was the one making the comics as well.
