What the Shadowy Author has some unsettling implications. He doesn't seem very concerned about what just happens, and he treats these two as though they were only fulfilling their fated roles in bringing about this universe's cataclysm. But this universe only exists because Bob showed up. So, in a way, it's Bob's fault that this universe had this Cataclysm. So, in a way, it's Bob's fault that millions of people just died. I suppose that's one of those ethical problems in creating universes through dimensional travel... The Shadowy Author's powers have the same sound effect as the Authors, because he is a possible future version of the Author. Also, I like the effect in the third panel. The Future Alternates' story would continue here.
